You can patch up yourself or an adjacent ally, even in combat. BACKGROUND
Lyrael Weaver was born into a family of renowned weavers in the bustling city of Waterdeep. However, fate had a different path in mind for her. From a young age, Lyrael exhibited an innate connection to arcane energies, displaying sorcerous abilities that set her apart from her family’s tradition. While her parents were initially apprehensive about her newfound powers, they eventually recognized her potential and encouraged her to embrace her unique gift.
As Lyrael grew older, she developed a strong sense of compassion and a desire to help others. Seeking a way to combine her magical talents with her passion for healing, she joined the Splendid City’s guard as a medic. In the City’s guard, Lyrael dedicated herself to serving the people, tending to the wounded, and providing aid during times of crisis.
For several years, Lyrael served dutifully in the Splendid City’s guard, using her magical abilities to mend injuries and alleviate suffering. Her presence and healing touch brought hope to those in need. However, the peaceful days didn’t last forever.
One fateful night, the City was besieged by a horde of undead, overwhelming the city’s defenses. Chaos ensued as the undead spread throughout the streets, threatening the lives of countless citizens. Lyrael fought valiantly alongside her comrades, using her sorcery to protect and heal, but the onslaught proved too great to withstand.
Lyrael was forced to flee the City with many other refugees, tending to the wounded and dying. She continues to patrol the refugee routes around the City helping the still living flee to safety.
